From what I have gathered it seems like the best time for me to start the potato famine would be on a Wednesday. The 3rd and 4th day can be hard and Friday this time of year is half a day at work due to Shabbos starting so early. That gives me the option of being down Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I have a small 3 day trip planned for mid January and i was planning on starting the potato famine when i get back as to not be in the weight loss stage while abroad. I figure that with the flights and messing with time zones I may break.
In the meantime I started eating more salads less meat and salt and no dairy about 14 days ago and the results were immediate.
I have lost 12.3 Lbs in 14 days.
