Recently in our building all the smoke detectors have been beeping to notify end of life.
After researching the different models available we decided to get this one for our apartment as it inter connects to the rest of them and the warnings are in actual speech and as an added bonus the battery loads from the front so no need to take the smoke detector down every 6 months.
Kiddie also has this model that is also front loading batteries but the cover needs to be slid off and we thought it might not be as easy to remove when needed.
